  Anethum graveolens. Dille. Year round. All purpose herb used in home cuisine and as a healing herb. The name dill comes from the Saxon dillan meaning ‘to dull’, referring to the practice to give dill to restless babies to make them sleep.
  • Beyond pickles, a potent stomach soother
  • Soups, vegetables, eggs and grilled meats
  • Salads, especially potato and beetroot

Uses: Both seeds and leaves are popular home cuisine herbs to go with eggs, fish and potatoes. It’s a valuable natural remedy for digestive upsets and bad breath. It’s also an excellent choice as a companion plant and beauty herb.
